It’s so simple to make. I even make up bags of the spice mix so I have it on hand and ready to go. As Melissa from Well Fed says, DO NOT skip the step of simmering the chili for at least 2 hours! It really, really makes a difference. The flavors meld and get deeper and better the longer it simmers. Serve this on a cold fall or winter day with some chopped onions, shredded cheddar and saltine crackers! We’ve got a big pot of it simmering on the stove now! Mouth watering!
